At Coloring Bunny, we believe quality, safety, and accessibility are just as important as creativity. Every coloring page and resource is carefully reviewed before it is published. This page explains who reviews our content, what we check, and how we continuously improve.

Content Review Process

👩‍🎨 1. Who Reviews Our Content

All of our coloring pages and resources are reviewed by members of our creative and editorial team, including:

  • Illustrators: ensuring designs are clear, family-friendly, and enjoyable to color. They also check that outlines, contrast, and layouts support accessibility.
  • Editors: reviewing text, instructions, coloring pages and guides for clarity and accuracy, while confirming links, file labeling, and descriptions meet accessibility standards.
  • Educators: reviewing pages and guides for classroom suitability, learning value, and accessibility for different age groups and abilities.

Each reviewer is credited on the page they reviewed (coming soon). Hovering over their name shows their profile, bio, and links to their work.

✅ 2. What We Check

Our review process covers multiple areas to guarantee high standards across all pages:

  • ✅ Family-friendliness: Ensuring all artwork is family friendly.
  • ✅ Clarity of design: Checking that outlines are bold and printable, with no stray marks or clutter.
  • ✅ File quality & resolution: Making sure every page is sharp (minimum 300 DPI) and optimized for quick download, even on slower internet connections.
  • ✅ Paper sizing & layout: Verifying that files work on both Letter (8.5 × 11 in) and A4 (8.27 × 11.69 in), with correct margins for easy printing.
  • ✅ Accessibility: Following our Accessibility Statement, including checking links, page readability, and file/page sizes.
  • ✅ Instructional accuracy: Reviewing guides (e.g., How to Print) to ensure steps match the real printing process.
  • ✅ Page usability: Confirming pages open correctly across devices (desktop, tablet, mobile).
  • ✅ Originality: Confirming that no designs are copied. All pages are either hand-drawn by our illustrators or created with AI assistance and carefully refined by an editor before being published.
  • ✅ Interesting: Every page is checked to make sure it’s enjoyable to color, sparks creativity, and adds variety to our collection.
  • ✅ Sustainability: We design with the planet in mind by keeping PDFs lightweight and optimized, sharing eco-friendly printing tips and supply suggestions, and promoting our digital coloring cool as an option for many of our pages. See our Sustainability page.

Our review process doesn’t stop once a page is published. We regularly:

  • Refresh seasonal and holiday pages.
  • Update older designs with clearer descriptions.
  • Improve accessibility features across the site.
  • Listen to community feedback to refine future updates.
