What I Learned from Watching Others Color my Pages
As an artist, creating coloring pages is always fun and exciting – I put my heart and efforts into each page, imagining how fellow artists can bring them to life.
But what surprised me the most was how much I learned just by seeing others color my pages. Seeing different styles and choices of colors opened my eyes on how a single page can go beyond just being a blank canvas.

One thing I noticed was how personal coloring can be. Some artists carefully choose their color palette, while others use bold and bright colors. The same drawing and line art can look completely different depending on the person, and that made me realize that art does not end when I finish the drawing – it continues in the hands of the person coloring it.

I also learned that mistakes are not really mistakes, I call them “happy accidents”. Artists would go outside the lines, blend colors in unexpected ways, or add their own style to the page. Instead of keeping colors within the lines, these styles add more personality and uniqueness to the pages. It reminded me that coloring is not about perfection, but about enjoying the process.
I realized that coloring builds connection. I feel so enthusiastic each time I share free coloring pages, connect with the community, offer tips, and exchange encouragement. It brings me real joy and appreciation to know that something I created can offer comfort, fun, or even relaxation to someone else. It is a reminder for me that art can be a shared experience, and that creativity grows beyond when it is enjoyed together.

Creating coloring pages improved myself a lot, but watching others color them taught me something even bigger: that art is alive, flexible, and deeply personal. And honestly, these made me love what I do even more.

Thanks to fellow redditors in the community for coloring my pages.
